McQuaid Engineering Ltd manufacture a range of Static Pedestal & Mobile Rock Breaker Booms designed to mount onto all static crusher applications and ALL makes and model of mobile crusher.

By design the booms promote increased production, by safely and efficiently eliminating blockage/bridging problems in the crusher.

Static Pedestal Boom Systems

The range of Static Pedestal Boom Systems are designed for use on Jaw, Impact, Cone and Gyratory crushers as well as other applications such as breaking oversized material on the Grizzly. Our range consists of 7 models with horizontal reach of 3m to 7.5m (for further detailed information please view our rock breaker boom brochure).

To date the Static Pedestal Boom Systems have been successfully installed by industry leading firms such as Tarmac, Lafarge, Aggregate Industries, Hanson, Roadstone, Cemex (Roadstone) and Quinn Group.

Mobile Boom Systems

Our range of Mobile Booms are designed to integrate onto ALL makes and models of mobile crushers. As a general rule the boom systems are powered directly from the mobile crushers own hydraulic system, therefore eliminating the need in most cases for a separate hydraulic power supply.

The range consists of 7 models with horizontal reach of 1.9m to 5.4m (for further detailed information please view our rock breaker boom brochure).

To date our Mobile Breaker Booms systems have been successfully installed onto a wide range of mobile crushers including; Kleeman, Terex Finlay, Terex Pegson, Extec, Metso/Nordbeg, Fintec, Hartl-Crushtek, Hartl-Powercrusher, Parker, Tesab, Gip and Continental Nord.
