What our Customers are Saying
Product: Mobile Rock Breaker Booms range, comments by Terex Pegson
We decided to use McQuaid Engineering breaker booms following a recommendation made by an associate company.
In May 2008 we opted to use a McQuaid MCM3000 breaker on our X400 mobile jaw crushing plant. We were soon able to open up good communications with their technical department and exchange 3D files in order to speedily arrange the necessary brackets and mountings. The specification to McQuaid insisted on optimum geometry to access the jaw opening, minimal change to our standard plant and a simple means of integrating into our the hydraulic system.
The X400 installation process went well and McQuaid assisted with a support engineer to ensure the correct functionality of the equipment. The plant was commissioned by ourselves and the breaker attained all the objectives we required.
Following the success of the X400, in January 2009 we specified McQuaid breaker equipment for a Premiertrak 100 x 800 mobile jaw crusher. The breaker had to be shipped direct from McQuaid to an overseas customer and fitted to the plant on site in order to meet a tight delivery schedule. Such was our confidence in McQuaid as a supplier that we were able to do this.
I would highly recommend McQuaid for the supply of rock breaker equipment and we look forward to working with them again on future projects.
