Business is BOOMing for McQuaid Engineering Ltd (Dated Jan 08)
Established in 1994, McQuaid Engineering Ltd based in N. Ireland has built up an enviable reputation for the supply of a wide range of attachments to the quarrying, recycling and construction industries.
The companys main product would undoubtedly be their range of Hydraulic Breaker Booms that can fit all types/makes of static and mobile crushers to safely and efficiently eliminate blockage problems on the crusher.
When it comes to boom mounted hammers we would be one of the world leaders supplying directly to most of the major crusher manufacturers from Powerscreen to Extec, Metso and Kleeman and dealing direct with many of the giants of quarrying industry like Tarmac, LaFarge and Roadstone said Mr McQuaid, Managing Director of the company.
That said almost one third of our business is now in the manufacture of waste handling grapples and grabs. This is a rapidly expanding sector that is aggressive and needs high quality products that will survive various arduous applications
McQuaid Engineering have built up an impressive portfolio of internationally renowned products for the recycling and construction industries which include a range of Selector/Demolition Grabs, Sorting/Finger Grabs, and Mechanical Grapples, that can be used for the handling and processing of demolition, construction, timber, aggregate and domestic waste materials, and a range of Mechanical & Hydraulic Block grabs that are designed to handle all types and sizes of kerbs, bricks and blocks for use on forklifts, telehandlers, cranes and excavators.
